PRAYER ITEMS Thank you for praying for Tumaini Kwa Watoto Outreach Department prayer points. Thanksgiving Thank God for rescue for Joshua Kimondo; he was re united with his parents on 10th this month. Thank God for Solomon, who was visited by his uncle last week. A tracing had been done and it was found that there was no good relationship between Solomon and his uncle. Prayer points 1. We are praying for the rescue of the children from Nyanza and Western. These are Kelvin Ondenyo, Emmanuel Matara, Kelvin Wekesa, Achifila and Stephen Omondi. 2. Pray for these children that they will be repentant of what they did to their parents Luke 15:18 3. Pray for their parents, ask God to give them compassion for their children, Luke 15:20. Empowerment Department Thanksgiving * We thank the Lord for the provision of resources, to enable us to follow-up children and families. This week, some of our team members travelled to Western Kenya for follow-ups and tracing of these children: Bob Baraka (family relocated to their rural home this month), Kerrington Otieno,Victor Otieno, Kevin Odenyo, Augustine Mudome * Thank God for Joseph Kariuki, who is settling well at home. Joseph was rescued on 9th of July and rejoined school. On August 18, 2010, his grandmother’s friends joined our team during a follow-up visit to celebrate his return. Matthew 18:3-5, Acts 7:20, Hebrews 11:23 * Thank God for Pastor Benson, who is a support system to Immanuel and his family Prayer points * Pray for the protection of the team in Western province, for strength, divine connection and favour with the families of these children. . Isaiah 40:31, Isaiah 41:10. Pray that the Lord will establish all our children who are with their families and make them excel. Ezekial 36:24-27, Deut. 30:5. * Pray for provision for Phillip Ndegwa, a young man who helps his family at home in Naivasha, he would like to take a mechanic’s course. * Pray for Immanuel Imai’s parents, ask God give them wisdom on how to raise their children. They have been having challenges and at one point Immanuel had gone to the streets but his father found him and took him home. Proverbs 22:6. We thank all our prayers partners for standing in the gap for children, families and communities. Please share with us how we can thank God and how we can pray for you.
